Simply Sans
What began as a quick concept for learning web design and wireframing basics rapidly grew to a full brand identity (because how could I build a site without a brand?).
Simply Sans is a recipe search engine dedicated to curating your recipe finding experience around your personal dietary restrictions and preferences. The concept stems from my personal frustration with wading through vegan, sugar free, grain free (the list goes on) recipes while trying to meet my need for gluten free.

Living with dietary restrictions can be frustrating; this brand is meant to bring ease and fun to the recipe discovery and cooking process. We wanted the logo to reflect the fun that can come with cooking for yourself or your loved ones.
Icons
A series of icons representing the nine most common allergens, as well as a couple common dietary restrictions, were developed for web navigation as well as use as a brand element.
